Bajaj Institute of Technology(BIT), Wardha is offering B.Tech. degree Programs in engineering with an intake capacity of 240(60 each for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Computer Engineering) from 2017-18 academic sessions. BIT is affiliated to Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (BATU) which is a state Technological University of Maharashtra state

BIT is a Linguistic Minority (Hindi) Institute where in 51% seats are reserved for Hindi linguistic Maharashtra state domicile candidates. All admissions are through common admission process (CAP) of the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra for which it is necessary to appear in the CET or JEE (Entrance examination).

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for B.Tech admission is as per the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai.

 Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate :

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and The Candidate should have appeared in all the
subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
OR
(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).

All India Candidature Candidates :

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main Paper I or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper I over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET.
OR

(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)

Admission Process

Admissions @ BIT are through CAP (Centralized Admission Process of DTE/CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra) only. For CAP process, candidate must register online. The online admission registration is available at State CET Cell website (SETU Assisted Admission Registration) http://cetcell.mahacet.org/ or https://maha2019cap.org/

Candidate shall opt for choice code during option form filling. After allotment of seat candidate should report for admission to the institute with ARC allotment letter, prescribed fees, original documents and attested photocopies of documents.
